The monthly price is rarely the bill. Per-order fees, commissions and the fees
your guests pay are where the money goes. Put your numbers in.
Who is charging your customers?
Owner.com (Flat Rate) takes
$12,000 a year
out of your guests' pockets — on top of the
$15,198 you pay.
A fee your guest pays is still a fee on your menu. It doesn't appear in
your costs, it appears in what your food seems to cost — and a
$32 order that rings up higher at checkout is a
reason not to order again.
Including us, at the settings above. With surcharging
on, your credit customers pay
$5,040 a year — so we
belong on that list and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Two
differences we'd argue matter: it's a switch you control, and it
offsets your card processing rather than paying us a cent. Turn it
off above and it goes to zero. The order support fee charged by
Owner.com applies on
every one of their plans, including the one sold as having no
restaurant fees, and no toggle removes it.

About the marketplaces. DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub
aren't ordering software — they're demand. Their percentage buys orders
from people who have never heard of you, and comparing that to a website
subscription only works for the orders you would have received anyway.
Most restaurants run both. The question isn't which is cheaper, it's how
much of your business should arrive at 25%.

What this calculator doesn't tell you
Marketplaces bring you orders you would not have had.
A commission on an order that only exists because someone browsed an app is
not the same as a commission on your regular's Friday pizza. This tool prices
the fees, not the demand.
Where we couldn't verify a processing rate, we don't invent one.
Clover, DoorDash, Grubhub, Owner.com, Popmenu, Toast and Uber Eats publish no card rate we could find. Their bar carries a
hatched segment at an industry-typical rate purely so it isn't misleadingly
short — their real number could be better than ours, or worse.
We show each platform's cheapest plan for your numbers, not
their entry-level one. Several sell a low subscription with a high per-order
fee alongside a high subscription with a low one, and which wins flips with
volume. Quoting the cheap-looking tier at high volume would understate what
you'd actually be told to buy.
List prices only. Most of these companies negotiate, and a
quote you have been given beats anything on this page.
Setup, hardware and delivery costs aren't included beyond
published setup fees. Terminals and drivers cost extra everywhere, including here.
Surcharging rules here are a summary, not legal advice.
It is prohibited in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine and Puerto Rico, and
capped at 2% in Colorado and Oklahoma. Card-brand rules and notice
requirements apply on top of state law. Confirm with your processor and your
own counsel before switching it on.

No software fee at all for food businesses.
No commission on your orders, no per-order fee, and nothing charged to your
guests. Card processing runs through your own merchant account;
those rates are quoted when you apply, and we take no share of them.
